Vintage AXO Sport 1992 Stanton vs Bradshaw Las Vegas Supercross T Shirt
Item name: Vintage Single Stitch 1992 AXO Sport Jeff Stanton vs Damon Bradshaw Vegas Supercross tee
This is one of the most iconic items in motocross history. These tees were made by AXO Sport during the 1992 season for friends & family of the company and both Bradshaw & Stanton and were not released to public. If you know anything about motocross history you know the battle between Damon Bradshaw and Jeff Stanton during the 1992 Supercross Championship that went all the way down to the last race of the year at the LA Coliseum with Jeff Stanton taking home the title in a total upset. Since both riders rode for AXO Sport it didn't make a difference which rider won as long as it wasn't JMB didn't which you can see noted on the sleeve. These tees were created for strictly marketing purposes.
Condition: This item is new old stock. It has never been worn or tried on. HOWEVER, there are lines of discoloration on the the shirt and a bit near the neck collar where the edges were exposed being that it was folded while being stored away for 27 years in a garage setting and not touched at all. There is also an interesting print on the inside of the left sleeve of the shirt which I believe reads "Challenge" with the AXO A logo in pink.
